Currently we are doing a heraldry project for S.S. as well as a brain research project for Applied Skills.
In P.E. we have begun track and field and soon we will watch an opera for English. We are doing guitar instead of drama for some odd reason. Is it because of the strike?

Haven't blogged in a while, must sum up Current events
Began weight training in P.E, finished science project a while ago,  began s.s. project  about rastafarian( Bob Marley!!!!. Going to competition on friday in kamloops, have to take two tests for english, science.
should change my elective to photography with mr. ehrmantraut.

Today in P.E. we continue to practice maneuvers to take down fellow students. After, in French we had a oral French test. After, in Art we continued to work on our abstract. Finally, in Math we had a quiz

Today in L.A. we began to write our shape poems. After,, in Appl Skills we watched Cars. Then in S.S. we watched a bit of the Lord Of The Rings. Finally, in Science we worked on the hydraulic systems.

Today in Wrestling we began to do actual wrestling matches with alloted time and points. After, in Art we continued to work on our abstract collage. Finally, in Math we had a test.

Today in English we created  nursery rhymes. After, in S.S. we watched the rest of The Rise and Fall of Rome. Finally, we had a pressure test.

Today in Wrestling we tried to take each other down in a match competition. After, in Art we had a sub called Mr.Malloff who ate all the chips if anyone brought in any. Also, he said if he tried to hit an old lady with a snowball in his neighbourhood, he would get a middle finger. He also had a rivalry with the ice cream man as he tried to hit the ice cream man's truck with water balloons. After, in Math some of the people had a corn fight.

Today in English we shared our various song lyrics and even listened to Eminem sing "Lose Yourself."
After, in Appl skills we continued to draw our sketches of scenes form Avatar. Then, in S.S. we watched a Molson Canadian commercial called "The Rant." Finally, in Science we learned about pressure.

Today instead of P.E. we had an assembly where we watched the Churchill Lipdub. After, in Art we began to make out silhouette paper collage. Finally, in Math we had a quiz.

Today in English we scrambled up Shel Silverstein's poem, Messy Room to create a poem unique to our class. After, in Appl Skills we drew pictures of notable scenes or objects from Avatar. Then, in S.S. we had a quiz and a fire drill shortly after. Finally, we had a Science test about matter in Science.

Today we did a game called British Bulldog in wrestling, where the 'dog' was to try to flip the players onto their backs. After, in French Ms. Chuaqui was sick so a substitute came to fill in for her. Then, in Art I finished my Cthulhu collage. Right after, in Math we had a Math quiz.

Today in English we began to learn about what poetry is supposed to do in your mind. After, in Appl skills we finished Avatar. Then, we learned about Judasism in S.S. Finally, in Science we were assigned to make a concept map of matter.

Today in P.E. we tried a bunch of wrestling games where we had to try to knock each other over while doing various poses. After, in Art we tried silhouette cutout paintings. I tried to make a Lovecraftian Cthulhu in the cutout. After, in Math we had a Math quiz. When I got home, I decided to search for Cthulhu on the computer and found a video called the Adventures of Lil Cthulhu. Today in L.A. we played a game where the object of the game was to not be in the middle. After, in Appl Skills we continued to watch Avatar. After, in S.S. we were supposed to do a jigsaw learning approach but the pamphlets were missing pages so we didn't do it in the end. Finally, in Science we began to do a chart which told about things that were related to matter.

Today in P.E. we started our wrestling unit by playing a game called chicken, where you tried to knock others out of a ring while hopping on one foot. After, in Art we finished printing our scratch paintings on paper. Finally, in Math I did nothing because everyone went to watch the basketball game and I stayed behind.

Today in English we had a book test. After, in appl skills we watched Avatar. The mecha suits aren't realistic because they aren't actually that useful in real combat. Their elevated stance makes them vunerable to missile fire. Also, their legs can't be too armored or this will slow them down. On the other hand, this mobility also makes the legs easily damagable, making them immobile. In all, the mecha suit has poor mobility and protection, making the user a easily attainable kill. After, in S.S. we watched a BBC short about wealth vs. health. Finally, in Science we tested the flow rate of water out of a test tube.

Today in P.E. we watched the Churchill Basketball Tourney. After, in Art there was maybe 8 people in the class because a whole bunch of people went to see the basketball game. So we made scratch painting printings instead. Finally, in Math we didn't do any pages of math because like in Art there wasn't anybody because of the basketball game.

Today in English we learned how to write good paragraphs. After, in Appl Skills we watched Finding Nemo. Then in S.S. we had a Great Canadian Geography Challenge.Finally, in Science we did a question sheet about viscosity.
